Bolt on Engines.

Post by Black_FTOGPX »

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if there are any engines which just bolt straight on to the engine mounts with-out any modifications.

Does the evo or the 6A13?

According to Danny, the 6A13 will bolt straight in to the FTO's engine bay with no problems...

The EVO however, is another story...

Anybody know if you dropped in a 6A13 NA, would you have clearance problems with the bonnet?

if you retain the 6A13 cam cover plate, yes you will have bonnet clearance unless you get custom lowered mounts for the engine and/or gearbox... apparently Danny had clearance issues with his factory cam cover plate that's why he designed a custom one...
