Cruise Control

Post by KJ_bob »

Hey everyone, i haven't been on here for a while. My computer stopped opening the site... was waiting to get back to uni and post up the problem and then it randomly started working again this week :?

Anyway, has anyone got cruise control in their fto? I've had a look on the net and it would seem to be possible to hook up a universal car kit. Without making any calls the price seemed to be about $650... or $200 - $400 on ebay (but who knows what your buying then).

I've done a few searches on here and can't seem to find anyone thats had a go at this. Any light on the matter would be much appreciated

fantastic, if you don't mind my asking, how much was it? The one i was looking at mounts to the steering column and looks like another indicator or windscreen wiper switch.

Thanks vipfto, would love one of those for my next long trip! Do they sell your right foot at repco... if not, does nothing include postage? ;)

Honestly, it was so long ago, I don't remember the cost but it would have been a few hundred dollars I'm guessing. Can't even remember when I had it fitted now but it was at Slacks Creek.
The unit I got is the gear knob one shown about two thirds down this page: http://www.howard-may.co.uk/18206/index.html
