I agree that drifting can't really be placed in the category of other motorsports but it definitely looks like fun, never done it in real life but wouldn't mind giving it a go on a track someday. Would really push your limits

mmm for me, drifting & rally are the most fun to watch & most skillful ..

I get bored watching cars go round & round & round in circles .. good fun watching the crashes though :P

They are just around the corner from work, they have some pretty interesting projects goingon there at the moment... and not mx5's

I f**ken HATE MX5's they are for balding middle aged, "ace of base" pumping men who are are going through a mid life crissis and are unsure of their sexuality after being been married for 20 odd years and now like to wear womans panty hose under their pants....it makes them feel sexy 8O

Ps no offence intended

lol i personally like mx5's
almost got one over the fto
i like that kind of car though, i really like the z3, z4

as for motor sport i personally enjoy the drags and thats about it, i dont have the attention span to enjoy anything else, i can watch others for about 10 minutes but i slowly lose interest

There is only one good use for an MX5; that is ripping it apart to be used as a donor car for a Lotus 7 replica :)

If I wanted a convertible 2 seater I would go for a S2000 anyday over an MX5.

Lol.I loved my mx5 ,when I first got it I thought sh*t this thing is the best car I've ever driven but after about a year I couldn't cope with the abuse I was getting from my mates and family members. In the time I owned It I never drove with the top down , the hardtop would always stay on but I still got sh*t so I sold it and bought an fto.I've driven an s2000 and they are nice but compared to an early mx5 they don't have the grip around corners, and that sh*t you said about the mx5 and lotus 7 is kinda true but have you seen an ls2/f20c/13b powered mx5 beat a 911 turbo at a track. It's just a f**ken shame everyone thinks there chicks ,old dudes cars. Just my opinion don't burn me lol :) :)

Thinking my first kit car may be one of these before migrating onto the Cobra (if I can ever afford it) or maybe even their Sabre.
