Thats pretty loud as it is, if you took resonator off it might make it borderline unbearable, sounds great though and it'll only get better once you get that carbon buildup.

trust me its not that loud in real life. massive improvement over stock but it somwhat sounds like a regular canon on a festiva... mivec growl has quietened down allot aswell. But hopefully when 'G' takes out the second resonator mivec glory comes out.

i was there when this was done and the workshop did a fantastic job, double checked everything, welded extra points to the chasis to stop movement... made a good impression.

Personally I would get rid of the second one. Purely because it wont make the noise as boomy inside the cabin. Heck yours will be as loud as mine soon...hehe

I think its coz everytime my exhaust is in front of you, you have your muffling helmet on.. but theres another video coming up, with a slightly spirited one..

Thats a good idea, if you take the resonator out now and you like it, it can all change once the carbon builds up and it changes again, possibly for the worst. Might as well leave it for a month and see how you go.

Yeah i might leave it for a while and see if the itch will still be there, but did you go through the same thing koolio ? not with a resonator removal but did it take that long to get the note change ?

but my car's already been serviced about a week or two before so if i did get another service it wouldnt really be any much different, does anyone have a sound sample of an apexi n1 with 1 resonator ? or any straight through cannon maybe ?

WTF! iv seen those videos , but i thought thats when you had no resonators at all, how big is the resonator in that ? and where in the system is it sitting ? after the cat or near the driver rear wheel?

I can give you sound with straight through with my de-cat pipe in and 1 resonator when its gets back from painter

I wouldnt call the little tiny thing in there a resonator though. Although it is there I am fairly certain it makes no difference. So I guess it is no resonator. I may try what it sounds like with the punched cat..heheh flames maybe??

Ok so today i heard the car in person from outside when my mate did a mivec launch for me, and man im not taking off the resonator for a while now, it sounds beast to me , so at this point im happy, plus i can hear engine growl from the back too:
