Facelift / series 2 fog lights installation

There seems to be no threads about this so,
has anyone installed facelift fog lights from scratch including wiring and all? aka foggies were taken out from compliance(pretty sure) with one connector maybe purposely burned and melted the tip to be unusable and the other one cut altogether?

hmm i think some people may have done this when they were putting the frontbar from dstocks group buy on the prefacelift models

im not sure if they would have to install them from scratch though

Yep. What do you need to know? Wire colouring?

I used:
Green / White + Black = fog lights
Green / other colour + Black = Indicators
Red + Black = unused.

I cut all the heads off, soldered on heavy duty blade connectors (they outdoor use style with rubber boots covering them) then when connected used some grease on the blades to stop any corrosion - as these plugs are subjected to road water etc.

i just thought about it, i might be able to use the old fog light wires(if they are usable or if they really are the old ones)
