MY CAR HAS BEEN STOLEN! BLACK GP VERSION R **NOW FOUND**

Post by muchacho32 »

Just putting the word out there guys last night my car was stolen it was parked outside the gf's place in rivett, we heard it take off around 2:00am and called the police. more then likely i would say it isn't in canberra anymore seeing as the guys that stole it knew what they were doing because they not only went past the alarm but also the immobiliser. But still if you guys see or hear anything please let me know or even better notify the police. The car is a Black 98' GP Version R the only "Black" one in Canberra that im aware of. The plates on it when stolen were standard blue and white ACT plates with rego YFH 27L. I will post a pic of the car ASAP.

Cheers Guys.

fahh man, yesterday i thought my car was stolen but i was looking at a carpark identical to where my car was. sorry to hear man!

seriously, these days i would just want to buy me a transmitter bug and receiver in case of events like these.. very small chance the car will turn up in my area, will be on the lookout anyway. goddamn even alarms and immobilisers get breached.

LOL you "may" be more on the money then you think Schumie :P turns out you were right BorepYano the car has been found and ironically enough the dicks got more then they bargained for they didn't make it far apparently they were pulled over about 100 metres away from the house but took off and the police went in pursuit... not sure yet if they got them however I do know the car ended up in a tree or pole of some kind... haven't seen the car close up yet but hoping the bloody air bag did its job properly and at the very least broke a nose

Thanks to everyone else for there support btw lol rest assured all you "seagulls" out there will know about it if the car goes as a write off

Faaarrr! That's a bit of bitter sweet news...good because you can stop holding your breath but bad because there goes your car and less one gpvr..

If they hit a pole, it will most likely be a write off. Was the car insured over what you paid ? If you listed the mods and if it was low kays it generally will be. Hope you get a good pay cheque from the insurance company mate.

yeah sure was bought it for 13 and its insured for 15  kinda stuck between being excited about the prospect of a EVO 6 or maybe going to the dark side and buying a Type R Civic(btw im open to suggestions :P) and on the other hand totally guttered about the possibility of not being able to hear that sweet sweet sound of MIVEC in full flight... oh well guess I'll find out when the forensic guys have finished their work...

lol and yeah no probs, sure to be some pics of the after math

i think what you meant to say is
"i hope all the airbag DIDN'T go off and the crash caused severe head trauma and if we are lucky they will get parkinsons"
