i may have a motor for sale

a broken one that you could use for parts
depends what dad wants to do with it

it received damage due to a washer in the intake manifold and then was started for 3-4 seconds

its damaged the piston and a few other things im not entirely sure

but sometime i next week i will post the damage up here according to what mechanic says if dad wants to sell it

just get a second hand motor put new timing belt etc on it and drop it in much cheaper than fixing current one

just went over to the mechanics yeah its the pistons that are busted said i needed to get the gasket kit and couple of other parts he'll give me a quote when he finds the parts. And also said he needed to get a 2nd hand motor only reason he doesn't want to put the 2nd hand motor in and use my current one is because the head of the engine has just been rebuilt about 2 weeks ago so he wanted to still use the head part. For the engine he said approximately 2k for the same engine but why do u guys think of a 6a13? is it more reliable and how much more would it cost too get one of those, but im still planning to use my head and just replace the old parts with a 6a13.

cost would be around the same to get the motor, as for why a 6A13 its a 2.5L motor match the heads to the bottom end of the 6A13 and you will have a beast of a car
