steve that sounds awesome actually~ honestly the one from j's putty run vid sounded really harsh but this one sounded really good! but im still putting a resonator to get more engine sound from the exhaust..

but damnit your exhaust is gonna sound so good once the carbon builds up! thumbs up man! gotta agree with ben there, it sounds like a baron plane!

Yeah, well mine at 3000rpm was 98dB, just over the legal limit.
But that was 'race' spec

At 6K it's a badger in battle!

I called up performance exhaust centre northmead and got a quote of just under $900, it consisted of:

- 2.5" mandrel bent catback with the 4" varex cannon - the one with the lipped tip ( not the 4.5" )
- Wiring direct to the battery
- Also includes a resonator

Does that sound ok ?

Just booked mine in for $500.

2.5" mild steel with Redback high-flow muffler and resonator - $350
Twin tips - $150

He promised me that the Redback muffler would maintain the nice deep note and cancel out any raspiness

He said that mandrel bent and high-flow cat were unnecessary and that what I'm getting will be good for 10kws. I'll be holding him to it when it goes on the dyno!

He also said that if I supply a pod filter, he will install it and do me up a nice stainless steel pipe to the throttle body
