Bulb models

Post by lolo888 »

Hi All,

Just wanted to some clarification in terms of bulb models.
I have a '97 GPvR facelift model.
Just confirmed that it has standard HID for main low beam lights.
However, the parking lights are yellow, I wanted to change it to white so that it matches the main lights.

A few questions:
1. What is the model for that parking light? Is it a standard T10 wedge bulb?
2. While at it, I might as well change the interior night light and rear number plates light, is that also a T10 wedge bulb?
3. I see that the high beam for GPvR model is not HID but yellow, to replace this to white, do I use the HB3 (9005)? Has anyone done this?
4. For those who has changed their interior light, which colour looks good, white or blue???

Sorry for all the questions, and thanks in advance for the answers.

Bump. I'm also curious as to interior sizes - dash cluster courtesy lights etc.

Anyone? :D

1. Parker T10
2. rear no. plates T10 ; map/reading light - 38mm bayonet
3. HB3 HID 5000k color temp = white
4. blue = rice , white = elegant

Below is DIY for changing interior lights (dash, etc.)
