Eastern Creek Practice Day Saturday 6/3

We're off to EC for another practice day this Sat in the lead up to Bathurst to test a set of Tein Type HA coilovers I picked up secondhand.

These are height and damper adjustable, with 10kg front & 8kg rear springs, and camber adjustable tops. Fingers crossed the shocks are good...

Car is now lowered to 100mm clearance, camber on the front is maxed out to about 4 degrees with about 2 degrees on the rear. Going to be a completely different car to drive :twisted:

If anyone can make it out bring your camera. I need to get some shots of the car through corners to see how the new setup is performing :)

Good job guys 8)

Remember it's free entry everyone and I expect there will be a big variety of racecars again this weekend so not a bad day out for nothing!

Last practice day we had 2 FTO's on the hill coming out of turn 2.
Be pretty cool to get a whole line 8)

Just a quick reminder if anyone is coming out on Saturday it's best to enter from the south side of the circuit where you go to enter the WSID. Park your car on the hill then walk under the bridge down into the pits. I'll be in one of the garages, can't miss me, will likely be the only FTO there (silver GPX). Oh and bring an umbrella :twisted:

Cars all packed, just gotta pray for no rain now lol!

We'll be there regardless, if it rains it will be a good opportunity for some wet weather practice before Bathurst. Wish we'd had that opportunity last year :cry:

Bit of a mixed day yesterday, the second hand teins are good but we had lots of issues, so didn't get a chance to push for a time. I'm confident the teins are good for at least a second or two though, it's carrying a lot more speed through corners now.

I'm planning to be back at the creek this Friday for some more testing with the suspension setup and try to bank a time. Will be a very busy day though with the first round of the State Championships on this weekend.
