One small step for FTO'ness

Post by SilentBob »

Well today while my car was at the clutch place being worked on and fixed, they asked me if they could use my car in their commercial because, and i quote 'it was the fanciest looking car we have here'

*chuckles*
what would i care, and it gives me the laughin factor when my car is on tv and i shout 'hey thats my car'

so anyone in the hunter area, or wherever else this place advertises...
look out for one red FTO in a 'newcastle gearbox and diff' add in the not to distant future

here's hopin the "fto australia' sticker on the side makes it into the shot ;)

Alright Silentblob way to go buddy!!! do you get a commission or what  I think the FTO is in for some big things in Australia I think we [FTOAustralia] are going to lift the profile of the car and maybe change the perceptions (Spelling?) people have about it, that is the negative perception I'm talking about... and if not we'll just beat their pants off on the road...

Chalk one up for Silentbob...

nah, no payment....
didnt really care, they didnt charge me through the ass for the work(because i got some pre estimates and the fto is apparently more a bitch to work on in terms of things like the clutch master cylinder and bleeding it etc)..

just the proudness factor that i can have my car on telly ;)

i have the 'fto australia' stickers in the small rear side windows on both sides, so if they show the side of the car at all then these should be clearly visible

saw my tv commercial last night...
not as much exposure as i was hoping for :(

saw some shots of my gear lever and fto blanking plate :)
brief outside shots, but nothing where a notable FTO logo was visible(at least not during my sleepy viewing at 10pm last night)
