don't know which model is on robb's car but these are the only fully adjustable suspension kits for the FTO from Tein that i can find now so i would say that it is the same or equivilent (newer) model from Tein.
fto12345: Sometime in the near future my kyb springs (almost new less than 2,000km's on them) and whiteling springs will be for sale i'd imagine.
mikey: ahahah
that's funny.... in short no interest free terms without the price going up to cover my own financing costs

Too bad they don't make RA's for the FTO anymore, otherwise I would of gotten you to get me a set (I should of bought some when they came out, damnit =P)
Anyways, I'm interested, but I want the pillar ball mountings as well.
Hmmm just checked the site, they don't offer HAs without pillar mounts anymore, that makes things easier =)
Dropping an email =P

Would luv a set of Teins.............
But I think the ride comfort on the choppy Tasmanian roads would see me spending a fortune at the chiropractor. All the revenue down here goes towards more and more speed camera's.
Although, anyone that want's to part with a set of 4 Whiteline spings, I would definately be interested in taking them off your hands.
Cheers
Chris

Tein HA can be seriously stiff, I wouldn't suggest buying them if you just use your car just as a daily as their worth can only be shown on a track =) Or you just your car to feel like it's on rails (with the right tyres) =)
Default spring rating is 8kg per 175mm for front and 6kg per 200mm for rears.
However you can get springs rating between 7-10kg for front and 5-8 for rear.
Remember, we have a light car as far as cars go, and these spring rates are pretty stiff =) If you do go get them, think about what spring rates you want =P
Also the damper (shock) is adjustable, that should reduce the shock of bumps somewhat =)

the spring rates go from OEM to rock solid on these so if you are happy to tune your suspension for specific events and want comfortable daily driver plus rock solid performance on the track they are what you want...
if you also want to be really lazy i can arrange for the Electronic adjuster to be added to your shipment (control shock's from the cabin)

when there is a will, there is a way...wildfaye wrote:Currently the Tein EDFC in not fitable on the FTO due to lack of space in the engine bay. FYI.
U have a way to work dat around?

(cut holes on your bonnet so the EDFC actuators will stick out from the engine bay - looks fully hectic bro!

hey guys just a quick update,
I've been speaking on the phone with Tein in Japan and it appears we will have a new offer very shortly.
Tein UK has built Super Street's for the FTO (manufactured in Japan)... we are currently working on a price deal for these... these offer ride height adjustment by as little as 1mm, and are totally top of the line....
Pricing will be around the 2k by the time they are delivered to your door.... watch this space for more information coming in the next week or so.
