Forum Outage

Hi All,

My apologies for the long outage.

We had a major problem with our previous host. They claimed we were 'overloading their SQL server'

Being the c**nts that they were, they would not give me the latest backup as it was the 2nd time it had happened. If it happened for a 3rd time, they were going to cancel my account... with all 18 other business websites I host. I simply couldn't risk it, so I have moved us to a new host, who promises that we wont overload their servers

Unfortunately, we have lost about a months worth of data as we've gone back to the last good backup I had.

Oh well, Im sure all you post whores will make up for it. Feel free to repost stuff that has been lost.

I have also been hesitant to reopen the forums until I had done the upgrade, because I believe it is a security vulnerability with this version of software that caused the overload. Aka, we were either hacked or spammed with denial of service attacks.

Problem is, I cant do the upgrade until the webite that has the procedure to do so, comes back up! Its down for upgrades as well

So, for all you keen webbers, please keep an eye on this site:

The second it comes back up, please let me know asap. I will then proceed with the badly needed upgrade.

Don't want to piss on a bonfire....but...get a debug error when I post. Does't seam to do anything, apart from annoy me. Anyone else get this?

Yeah, Im getting there errors too, will look into it

And yes there will be another outage during the upgrade, but not for anywhere near the last one. More like a few hours.
