it's not a 2000 model (pre facelift front bar = pre 97), and the VIN number is not a VIN number, probably compliance

id say 2000 would be year of import NOT year of manufacture, if u check carsales ebay etc, it happens occasionally even know one qld member thoughts his was a faceslift tip but it only had 4 speed box unlike that of the 5spd tip facelift model, got to be careful there are a few other things like the momo steering wheel and dual srs airbags, which im pretty sure were updated 97+
