that storm was intense! i was in my mates car up on dandy mountain that night and had the craziest view of melbourne, we were practically at the same level of the storm. decided to get off the mountain before it came over.. driving into it was so intense, my mate had his wipers on full and yet couldnt see ANYTHING literally.. cars were doing 10-20km/h on the freeway, huge puddles everywhere too he was scared it would go up his intake pipe cos it hangs so low on his car haha.Cassf88 wrote:OMFG the drama with that!!!
on friday night i got caught up in the storm driving home n i went through a massive puddle n i think i either got the engine or the battery wet...
both my headlights went out at the same time, my temp gauge for the engine was going to hot, my batt volt reader was going to 16V when it normally sits on 12V, all the lights in the car were glowing brighter every time i was revving the engine.... on idle i was absolutely fine.... anyway, i had to drive through a booze bus n luckily the guy directing the traffic to the random breath testing area wasnt paying attention n i drove past (i had no headlights, driving on fogs, with ONE blue parker working.) so yeh
went to auto barn, both headlights blew for some reason (both had individual reasons) n now the car seems keyword SEEMS ok.
