FTO UK Owner going to Sydney for the 1st time. What to do?

Post by Killer7 »

Hi everyone

I'm from the UK and going to Sydney for 8 days next week.

Any suggestions to what me and the wife can do? We both in our mid 20's so looking for some excitement.

We are considering moving to Sydney for work so something to excite us and make us look forward to living there would be great.

Thanks!!

Not sure whats on the North side but a couple of my favourites on the south side are:

Zaffrons is a really nice Indian restaurant, and James Squires which is a brewery/restaurant which does awesome beer and food. Both in Darling Harbour

Lowenbrau is a German themed restaurant located at the Rocks that serves German beer in stiens as big as your head :)
If you can't be good, be good at it!!

Not sure if you like Moroccan food, but I can recommend, Out of Africa, Manly.

You have to do a jet boat ride, the only way to see the harbour! :twisted:

You should come and visit circular quay and my hotel. i will be happy to show you some nice places to eat, some nice places to visit and maybe some exciting activities. PM me if youre interested. But briefly a lot of the people that come to sydney for the first time do some of the following;

bridge climb, jet boat, opera house, botanic gardens, darling harbour, monorail, pitt street mall, the rocks, george street, IVY, Establishment, Hunter valley wine tours, Blue mountains tours etc...

If you want some alternative accomodation I get you some pretty big discounts at my hotel. Just a heads up.
