thanks once again guys, ever so helpful
yes i have done some previous research, got a general idea and such
(but there is always more to learn!:))
just my main question was if the FTO's you see for sale around 8k are actually a decent buy
or whether those few extra thousand can save more down the track
but all in all, it looks like im going to have to look under the couch for those few extra pennies to get a decent FTO.

Depending on the model and condition fto's will generally range from $6000 - $12000.
A decent fto will be around the $10,000 figure, but they can be had for cheaper if they have higher km's, bad condition, mechanical problems, etc.
If your interested, I have my gpx manual for sale, check out this thread ---->

Otherwise good luck in your search

koolio1234, i actually AM interested

but i'd have to look at the rest, to sort out the best sort of thing
so if your still selling in 2-3 months... (which you wont, because that thing will go fast!)

If you want the race spec fto, get the GP version R.
make sure you do your research prior to buying the fto here:

and remember, its ok to be fussy, no regrets you know.
whereabouts do you live, welcome to the club!
i live on the central coast of NSW
and yea, the GPX did catch my eye

but i may end up finding a lower-spec which is just perfect, you never know.
but thanks guys, for your help.
as said before, i hope one day i can return as a real memeber
and not just a kid wanting to buy one
Cheers.
