High idle speed!!!

Okay... its annoyed me long enough... i bought my 1995 GPX about 4 months ago. when i start the beast it idles at 2500 revs!!! is this normal for an FTO with MIVEC or is it unusual???? if so how do i fix it? :!:

Dos it drop as the motor gets up to running temp?

once it gets warmed up it drops to about 2200 on idle and occasionally dropping down to 2000.

you just need to adjust the idle mixture screw to make it rev less

okay i tryed that and got it to idle at 1500. what is the usual idle speed for a FTO with MIVEC. just so i can set it to a similar idle speed. ;)

When at running temp it should be aprox 700-750rpm

ISC Sticking..... spray it with carb cleaner....

cool thanks ill give it a try. :D i love how there are so many people with knowledge on FTO's. mechanics where i live are like WTF is an FTO??? dumb asses...
