*URGENT* disconnecting car alarm

Post by -Nighthawk- »

So my car alarm started playing up today :\
First of all it wouldn't unlock and disable when I used my key, but after about 30 tries it finally unlocked. But now the car alarm seems to be going off every 5 minutes after I lock.

How can I disconnect it? It looks attached to the engine and some other parts of the car :\
Only solution so far is to keep it garaged (too sensitive?) but I need it to get to work tomorrow which it will be going off at the station...

Need help ASAP,
cheers

disconnect power source to alarm and remove backup battery
but make sure the alarm is dissabled (not sure but may run risk of it immobilising car)
