Thinking about new car

Post by harry90 »

Alright guys...im thinking of getting a new car...something more recent a bit sporty but clean and new. I have been looking at Mazda 6 series 2 mps, but have no experience with this car, but just like the look and that its new.
Any pro's and cons i should know about this car ? any other suggestions that anyone has ?
At this point im just considering another car, but in time will be looking for something similar to the mazda.

Depends what you want it for and what your price range is.

6 is too big IMO - it's a family car. 3 is pretty cool and has good performance figures - just not liking the front grill that much.

Focus XR-5 turbo is pretty sexy. My mate's dad has one and he reckons it flies.

Like I said, tell us what you're looking for and your price range.

Hey, i have driven Mazda6 mps before and its really a joy to drive. Power delivery is so smooth and grip so well, unlike Mazda3 mps.
Like FTO, it is seriously underated.

Maybe consider Toyota Aurion TRD?

My pick: 2000 or newer model BMW 325i

the is200 are a wicked car my old man has one, a considerable power drop from the gpx, a little slow but good car to cruise around in and interior is smick and sound system is close to perfect lol, handling is way good to mainly due to suspension setup, definately a good prospect

How about an FTO? :P

Are you keeping the FTO or replacing it?
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

That is one of my issues...we are planning on moving soon, so if we do i can have another garage space for my fto, if not i will have to sell it which is why i have put an EOI on my car to see how much i can get for it and if it is worthwhile keeping it or just using it to buy another car.

I always wanted to keep my first car for a while and have it as i was getting older as a sort of memorabilia to my youth if you know what i mean lol.

lol fair enough, i've never driven or owned one so cant comment on that...from what i have read and heard, it has an impressive spec sheet...only mentioned 'downsides' is its turning circle and the fact its not AWD or RWD...

is200 is a nice car...if i were to go that route i'd personally prefer a c200

they loooook brilliant....... and soooo cheap now....
there is a utube vid where a tuning mob in UK get one and do some suspension work on it - apparently completely changes the car.
turning circle is Horrible - my old man had a GT and 156 and 147 -

A black licence is a probationary licence :? The one you get if you loose all your points & decide not to opt for the 3 months suspension but for the 12 months probation (2 points)

The full licence you get after your P's is the silver licence.
