I have 'redlined' my car about twice at 6000~6500 - well its not really a redline but when iv just started the car or when its cold, it wont let me pass the 6000 mark... apart from that, iv reached a bit over 8000 but it did not really get to a point where it hit the limiter.

LOL say what you want but I'm proud of the way I drive =p

I mean I hate ripping it on a straight cos well, it's not exactly a quick car which you can feel the Gforce in, I've had it for 4+ years and i've been over the "power" of it for ages. I do like to take corners / bends quick, but ripping it on straights really gives me no thrill what so ever.

Also, car is now at 110,000 kms and the only problem I've ever had is a broken slave cylinder seal ($40 to fix) and a new battery a month ago. The car has never ever even had a oil leak, mechanic can't believe what good condition it's in lol.
Service every 5000kms, change fuel filter every 15000 (overkill, I know) and always fill up before it hits a Quarter tank of petrol to make sure car is not sucking in any gunk from bottom of tank. I reckon it's in better condition than most cars 50,000 kms below mine currently!

+1 to that! cant believe the difference it can make by having proper maintenance. My ex '88 Teg engine looked and run like its only 5years old. Kudos to the previous owners.

Just load up Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport in arcade mode and look at cars in the same class. That'll give you an idea. ;)
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
