Argh!

Post by Cassf88 »

so, my area is becoming crumbier n crumbier. i think theres a wave of teeny boppers who are bored and having nothing better to do and end up deciding to vandalise.

woke up and went to warm up the engine before work n theres two cars parked in front of my house, my mums and our neighbours' friends car.

n i noticed that their passenger side has been keyed, and deep. not only that, it had rained n there was this white crap all over their windscreen. on closer inspection i notice they've hit my mums car as well, with what i thought is a flour bomb.

so the whole drivers side of my mums car has been hit, the other car has been keyed and bombed. and then i get a call later in the day.... ITS PAINT. they threw a paint bomb on these two cars, my mums car is green and the paint is white. Fan-FREAKING-tastic!

mum managed to get a lot of it off (with help from the pressure hose) before it dried out. the neighbours havent done sh*t n im thinking to myself, if tht was my car, i would want to get that stuff off quick smart.

the other thing that i dont get, is that it was just the two cars out the front of my house that were targetted (good news though, my car is fine :))

wondering if anything liek this has happened to anyone else?

If moving was not an option, id find somewhere else to park...like around the corner or something or a short walk from a safe spot

Know how you feel - you hear a sound outside at night and have to check your baby's ok still.

There's only so paranoid you can be about this sort of thing... short of picking a good place to park, and not pissing too many of the wrong kind people off so they target your car, having a good alarm and insurance - there's only so much you can do.

Kinda lucky with the kids on my street - they all seem to like my car. Running into them while loading up the boot with a couple of rifles and a shotgun might have helped.
If you can't dazzle them with dexterity, baffle them with bull...

sorry to hear, worst incident ive been apart of is my neighbour (who im pretty good friends with) directly across the street had is car lit on fire on a saturday around midnight while they were out.

Was looking for my shoes out on my veranda, looked across the road and there was a huge blaze of fire reaching about 15 metres over the car 8O

he owns a customs shop and unfortunately had his girlfriends very nice Pontiac GTO parked out on the street receiving a brand new charcoal paint job ...

Other than a small parking dint (hit & run) incident a while back, my fto's been ok.

It also helps that I park it in a fairly secured and generously spaced parking lot @ uni and in my carport @ home. A good thing never lasts though does it?

Well, my FTO had someone bump parked into it, of course no note.

My 3 mps got egged.

My 350gt got egged within the first few weeks of buying it, and received a door ding while parked at uni.

And i have no enemies, really.. everyone says i'm always too nice so go figure lol.

Ah well,

The fto bump park damaged cost me $400 to fix (mates with a good bodyshop).

The 3 mps had some paint come off... i kinda just left it. Went over the bigger bits with some touch up paint.

The 350gt is harder as the paint is pearl but i managed to get a nissan touch up pen with pearl (not that great) and the door ding is still there..awaiting the day i'd rather put $100 into it than mods lol.
