mirror and fog light problem

ok well i got two problems with my car. both of them are not major problems and can get away without using them but i just want to fix it for the sake of fixing it. the problems are:
1st: my passenger side mirror will retract one way but won't the other way.
2nd my fog lights are not working, i have changed the bulbs but they still wont work, but my park lights and indicators still work

and as for the fog lights, could well be the fog light switch, there known to melt on the back, take out the fog light switch have a look at the back of it

is there moisture in the fog light pods? Coz my fog light wires on one side corroded from the moisture and ended up disconnecting.
