depending on who you believe, accel times have been rumored from mid 6s to mid 7s for the 0-100 dash... i done have a proper timing equipment on me so I won't be pulling any numbers on my part...

from memory I believe the DC2 type-R can clock high 6s or low 7s for the 0-100 dash as well, and only just quicker than the FTO by the slightest of margins so i suppose if you are l33t with your footwork/launch, you could catch the DC2R in your trails...

I didn't realise the V6 calibras were soooo slow, the turbos were reckoned to be 6.2s - they certainly feel quick, my FTO is definetely not as fast as the calibra was, but like I said straight line fast is not everything.

ps just to complete the calibra history, V6 was 2.5L FWD, turbo was 2L 16v 4x4 and you could get a 2L 16v non-turbo 4x4 in europe, but that would be like having a Scooby without a turbo. Yuk.

Personally, I'd be buying the car based on your day-to-day driving not based on how quick you can do a 1/4 mile.
