Have you taken the kilometres into consideration?maxleng wrote:hmm sorry to say but i dont think you have any chance at all in selling that for 16k
maybe if it was MIVEC (but still there are gpx's going for 9-10k in v good cond.)
56 000km is as close to buying an original FTO off the shelf in the 90s as you're going to get.
Link me to a GPX/GPVR with these kind of KMs for 10k WITH a 2 year warranty.

1) Can we not rip into the guy for his price .. If it is too high, no one will buy, so he will have to relist .. Enough said ...
2) I (and a lot of people) have come to this site to buy an FTO.. I was registered for about a week, before one of the members listed their car that I bought ...zuihoujueding wrote:I done think its a good idea to sell your FTO here as you have known we all already have one..
Anyway, good luck for the sale! Just be patient and a buyer will eventually see your ride as a gem which worth the money.
I just had to add it ......

I talk a lot of sh*t, usually have to keep a roll of toilet paper handy in the car for my mouth

not to rip intot he guy for his price, but ive noticed this one for sale and i just cant understand why it hasn't sold yet, 1999 so one of the lastest, black (drool) , manual, version r and also only has 60 000 kms. im in wa , it might be because p platers alowed turbos and v8's here and dont warrent the price, but if i hadn't already bought my fto i would be very keen to have a look at this one, but maby the white one is better condition as i havn't seen either lol
just my 2 cents

FFS, im pretty sure rock it made it perfectly clear
A FOR SALE SECTION IS A PLACE FOR YOU TO ADVERTISE YOUR ITEMS. THE ONLY COMMENTS IN HERE SHOULD BE ASKING INFORMATION ON THE ITEM.
IF YOU THINK HE ASKING TO MUCH, PM HIM OR JUST LET IT GO.
YOU DONT CONTACT PEOPLE WHO ARE SELLING CARS ON CAR SALES OR EBAY
IN WHICH YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF BUYING AND TELL THEM THEY ARE ASKING TO MUCH.....DO YOU!

well hang on,
im just gonna defend my post... i wrote it with intention of giving feedback to the guy.
i would hate to know im selling something n wondering why there are no bites... n to post it on a forum specifically for this car i think that its a good thing that we're just advising him.
u guys take it the wrong way sometimes, we're not looking at 'shutting him down' all the best if he got that price but just wanted to bring it down to earth that its not going to be an easy sale.

The purpose of the for sale section, is to assist members selling cars or parts. None of you, in any way shape or form, are doing that.

If you have an issue with an item for sale, please tell a moderator, as per the forum rules, if you do not get a response or the response is not to your liking, escalate to your state coordinator (aka a committee member) if you still do not receive a satisfactory response, follow the chain of escalation detailed on the forum rules.
Spot on ^^ as such I have modified the forum rules to suit. Which of course everyone has read I hope as it leads on into my next point.I8A4RE wrote:YOU DONT CONTACT PEOPLE WHO ARE SELLING CARS ON CAR SALES OR EBAY
