Finally fixing my car

Post by Cassf88 »

Since i got my Blue Taxi, my brake light fuse keeps blowing, so with Rudd's help its gone to an auto elec.

Dropped it off at 8:30am n they still cannot find the problem... im not a happy camper because even if they cant find the fault i have to pay them...

i just want to say my car is poop.

simple fact is, you're not paying them to play around with the car, you're paying them to fix the problem - if they can't do it, why should you pay them? and why should they WANT to charge you unless they're dodgy?

didnt have to pay, they pulled the whole boot apart, looked at wiring couldnt find the problem, looked at the brake light up the top couldnt find a problem with that either.

they said because it happens intermittently they wont be able to find the problem unless it reoccurs more often, but if it blows again to let them know....

so for the moment, it does work n my car is roadworthy EXCEPT that i asked them to have a look at my leftlow beam because i though it blew on wed, chenged the bulb on sat n still doesnt work :'(

*goes n cries*

8O Can I have one?

Cass, have you tried taking it elsewhere? Make the point that you will not pay if they dont fix the problem if you do take it anywhere.

if they cant find the problem how can they fix it??? :P

the only reason i went to this auto elec is because my mechanic recommended him n i trust my mechanic, everyone is like take it here n there n when i ask why they just shrug... :S

im gonna take another look at my head light see if i can find the fault...

one more day today with brake lights... YAY!!!
