Had a crash

Post by rock_it »

Ran up the back of a Honda CRV today ...

Bitch cut me off in traffic, so I beeped... She stuck her finger up out the window, and started dropping the F bomb ... So not one to take sh*t and being short tempered, I dropped it back ...

At the lights, she slamed on the brakes, I missed out on hitting her, and I laughed and said sucked in ... She did it again, and I was not so lucky ... She jumps out the car and says "sucked in, now you have to pay" ... f**king bitch ..!!!

So CF hood is fucked, and just a few scratches on the front bar ... :(
I just had to add it ......

She was from Leichardt .. Or something like that ...

So freaking pissed off .... My beautiful carbon fibre... So, I am pretty sure the carbon fibre was listed on my insurance policy, but they will probably only get me the carmate one...

Yeah I know .. Usually I am pretty easy going ... But have been a little stressed out as of late... 18 hour shifts for the past month tend to make you have a short fuse... So when she flipped me the bird, and started screaming at me, I couldn't let it go ...

Now if the bitch had of indicated, and not just cut me off, then I would have been fine.. But considering she almost wiped out my front panel, and then had a go at me for being in the right, well, yeah you know the rest... Lesson learned ...

Sorry to hear Craig, that sh*t she pulled was absolutely disgraceful. I dont think I would have been calm in this situation either. Probably would of broken the leg she used to slam the brake so she cant pull that sh*t again. Hopefully you wont have too much downtime.

The good thing is, you can't really see the damage... Just some surface scratches on the front bar, and the clear coat over the c/f has split and has some chips out of it, but that is it ..

Most of the gaps are still the same, just that there is a slight bit out of allignment out where it meets the drivers gaurd ... So nothing big ..

I know how work gets to you, i do the same hours and the amount of sleep you miss out on really makes you on edge.

Lucky you werent hurt though. I would of gone ape at her, and told her kids they were adopted.

Sorry to hear mate.

Now I'm not suggesting that FTOAustralia or any party involved in same would do anything silly, but... GB on tyre slashing?

yeah she's a nutjob, but sorry to say, you brought it on yourself .. maybe in the future you'll handle things differently & just "let it go"

I had a wanker in a Civic try to sideswipe me on the highway & pulling alongside giving me the finger, trying to get in front of me so that he could slam on his brakes, because I beeped a 4wd that nearly pulled into the side of me & the civic thought I was beeping at him..

Luckily he didn't hit me, but he came close & I was PISSED .. but the best & only thing to do with these psycho's is to drop back & get some distance between them in case they try to pull it again.. not as satisfying as pulling them out of their car & beating their heads in, but definitely more beneficial to your FTO..

Sometimes I want to go out & buy a $300 POS run around car so that if someone tries to do that to me I can give it back to them..

Oh yeah, Report her to Child Safety (or Children's services / whatever it's called down there)
If she had 3 kids in the car & she was slamming on the brakes on purpose to try & cause an accident, that is putting her kids lives @ risk & child safety MUST investigate every case that is reported. ;)

Yeah, went to the cop shop, but they asked :

Did you exchange details?
Was anyone hurt?
Were any cars towed?

So yeah, details were exchanged, and no to other questions, so the cops said they don't get involved... I asked about the fact that she wanted to cause the accident, and how it was on the second attempt that I hit here, but they said since I was not travelling at a safe distance that I am at fault...

Which kinda kills me, cause I was at a safe distance and missed her the first time, so she then caused me to be at an "unsafe" distance when I hit her the second time... I just didn't expect her to do it again... I thought she was just being a smart ass and got over it ...

Good idea about calling DOCS though ...
I just had to add it ......

If you told the cops that she had 3 kids in the back & deliberately did it then the cops have to report it to DOCS .. make a separate report directly to DOCS & the cops might be in sh*t if they didn't forward on your claim..
