Stereo Surrounds and Floor Consoles

Well, ive been saying id do another one of these for a while, so here it is. Ill be ordering the parts from Japan. The parts are the genuine FTO items and are all brand new (so wont be as brittle). Details are below:

Stereo Surround

$180 + postage from me to you. Im in Canberra. From memory, Sydney is $10 to $15 and Melbourne is $15 - $20. If I send in bulk to Sydney or Melbourne it reduces postage.

Floor Console

$115 + postage from me to you. Im in Canberra. From memory, Sydney is $10 to $15 and Melbourne is $15 - $20. If I send in bulk to Sydney or Melbourne it reduces postage.

Now, how does this work. As I have to pay for the parts in Japanese Yen, the cost is based on the current exchange rate (which is currently about 72c per 100 Yen). The postage will also vary based on the number of bits ordered (costed on dimensions and weight) and exchange rate. Parts should take 1-2 weeks after ordering. Im thinking of just ordering 5 straight up anyway and getting people to just pay when they arrive, but id like an indication that there are at lease a couple of people interested before I commit to the order.

Oh and I can get other parts in this order as well if there is anything else anyone wants (I can get ANY genuine FTO part from Mitsubishi Japan). If you just give me an idea of what you are after, ill get a quote to you and we can get it sent across at the same time.

    Hey dstocl, would you be able to get it in carbon fibre? and what about those light up door sills? are they made from japan?

    I'm definitely in. Put me down for one of each please. How much would postage be for the two to Sydney?

    Also, will you be getting any extras/spares? From the stories I've heard about these I'm just worried about them breaking when trying to put them in.

    Yeah, I can probably still get them, but they would be expensive given the exchange rate. Do you want me to look into it.

    Postage to Sydney for both would be about $15 as one fits inside the other. It would be possible to make it even cheaper if I get more than 1 order for Sydney and can post all in 1 box (and then disseminate once they get there).

    As to fragility, the new ones are pretty good. They get brittle with time and then snap. This isnt to say that you should be rough with it. But ive bought over 20 of these now and havent heard of a new one breaking yet.

      I will take a Stereo Surround as well please just to have as a back up :D

      also is there any chance of a price for a quick shift gear stick kit.

      OK, have a bit of bad news.

      Mitsi raised their price on these at the start of the month. Normally this would only be a couple of dollars, but in this case, its about $20 for the surround and $15 for the floor console. Im still going to order 6 of the stereo surround an 5 of the floor console today as someone will buy them even if most of the people here lose interest. Hopefully with bulk postage I can keep the prices close to those quoted above though. The dollar has just gone up a bit overnight, so this should help too.

      If people could please let me know if a few dollars more for each of the parts is going to cause them to drop out, that would be great.
