Got the clutch...anyone wanna confirm its right?

Post by SilentBob »

Well had to get my clutch with the track day approachin fast...
ordered it in,
Exedy 'Sports Tuff' Heavy Duty Clutch Kit
MBK-6411HD Mitsubishi 225mm Clutch

the guy said that exedy has just changed all their models no's(make it hard for me to double check why dont they :) )

just hopin someone knows what size the clutch in the fto is to triple check this is right before i get it installed(or attempted install :) )
(the current exedy catalogue has the old model no's but says the diameter is 225mm)

comments?

225 is defintely right, but there is a thing called the spline and it's diameter is 22.4mm

also the bearings would have to be the correct size, but if exedy have re-jigged their models, then as long as its a kit made for the FTO i suppose you have to take their word for it
