could possibly have a mechanical fatigue failure while doing 180 kmh in a chase... you'd hate to have a coppers wheel bearing seize up & cause them to slide into & kill a troop of girl guides would you?
Haha definitely not. We would never hear the end of it!

I'm quite sure our cops disengage before they reach those speeds anyway. Usually they deem the chase to be too dangerous and let them go.

Our motorway cops use Subaru Legacy's but thats about as powerful as they get.
Can spot the unmarked ones by the 2 extra blue lights down by the front fogs and the double aerial. Unmarked vans are sometimes pulled into the side of the road with speed cameras pointing out of the tinted back windows in the doors, can spot these as there is a little square cut out of the tint for the laser to get through.

Really, f**k that. Worse job in the world i reckon. Coping all that bs, no praise, crap wages, shift work and risking your life. I have mates who are cops and they hate it. Apparently in qld they are really struggling to get recruits, people leaving in droves.

@ Ben, 8) nice, she can make me repect her authoritor any time

Lies! My gf's brand new rio (with VVT) makes me want to cry whenever I drive it. I get scared the engine is going to break when I take it past 4000RPM. Not to mention the spongy suspension!

Although I really like the interior...
