and omg what a movie... finally they brought back the stuff from the original fast and furious. :D
and it was such a good movie like i cant explain it... still got an adrelin rush lol
I just watched it.

Pretty disappointing..
Without ruining anything, this is why I didn't like the movie:

Nobody watches Fast and the furious series for the plot, as long as the plot holds together and delivers plenty of modded cars and spirited driving, everybody's happy.

HOWEVER - In this movie they actually tried to make a plot, and it was pathetic. There's around 10 minutes of the movie all up where you get to see modded cars driving fast, that's all. The second half of the movie consists of no sports cars and/or races.
well I will have to go with the above
the movie to me was like they put 1 and 2 together and then put it in the dessert.
it neads more cars and races for me But sh*t Dom's car  that motor mmmmmmm
I would only give it a 4 maybe a 5 out of 10 but thats just me.

the story line from the first movie is pretty much just taken from point break..... just change surfing for cars...

a) a cop infultrates a group
b) the cop starts liking the group
c) the cop tries to arrest his mate
d) he lets him go (e.g. vin diesel in his car and patrick goes out to surf at bells in waves that apparently kill him)....

Lol hey cmon, all I wanted to see in this movie was:

A) Modded cars
B) Races / Modded cars being thrashed and driven around

Both of the above combined contributed to about 10 minutes of the movie, that's why I'm dissapointed :?

Anyway, different people look for different things in movies. Like Tokyo Drift was the best for me due to there being a lot of cars and a lot of driving, nothing more :)

totally agree

Have to disagree, some.

I would've liked to see a few more nice riced up cars & a bit more racing - agree.

But, I could see all of that on youtube, or downloading some street racing vids..

The best part about this one was that they kept the original characters & tried to fit the storyline around what they've been up to since they left off from the first movie.. which I thought they did pretty well.

Besides .. the movie had plenty of booty shaking .. though it could always do with more..

Where are all the hot, half naked girls when there's a car meetup here? :( lol

Can't disagree with you fellas more (perhaps I am showing my age even more now)

More of the same. Weren't enough cars. Too much american muscle. Too many mexicans. And the best looking thing in the whole movie doesn't last? WTF is up with that? :supergay:

I found myself laughing at things I shouldn't have been laughing at (why do these sh*tty writers insist on bringing back the same bullshit comedic one-liners?)

"That's the one, the 240" "how do you know?" "That's what I would drive" :spew: what crap writing, perhaps that crap was written last year during the writers strike

What happened to Mia? She looked aweful. Letty was smoking hot as always.

They should have killed off O'Connor and had Toretto avenge his old mates death. Far less cliched, and could have been far more interesting.

The only things that could have saved the movie in my eyes would be the cars. As I said, far too much muscle, they are stepping well away from their own kick arse formula. This franchise is supposed to be about street racing, they should get back to those roots.

TF&TF and TF&F:TD are the stand outs for me

I did like the bad guys death though, looked rather nasty.

One bonus, I liked the music though. It was bloody good (already downloaded all of the tracks you won't get on the CD).

Spot on apart from 1 thing - Mia was pretty hot man!

And if you didn't like her face then:

You can't be serious!!! You think Jordana Brewster is ugly??

Image
Image

And you think Michelle Rodriguez is hot??? She looks like a rabid dog that needs to be put down ... And thank f**k she was .. maybe a bit harsh, but .. I have to say the fav part of the movie for me was when the guy put a bullet in her - made it hard for me to wish the guy dead - all I wanted to do was shake his hand

What is wrong with you man???

did it piss anyone else off about them not actually seeming to be driving the cars very fast?

Like, in the first movie they actually had the motion blur & all that when they were racing, yet in this one - especially the tunnel scene at the end tehy were going slow enough that Dom could climb into the other guys car & when they were driving towards the walls etc etc they took forever to get to them? I was like WTF!?

If they were really driving cars with over 1000hp as fast as they make out to be, they would be past any obstacles before they even see them.. and they wouldn't have time or the ability to climb into another car & into the drivers seat

It would've been more believable in the race through the streets, it would have been awesome if they went on the highway ... maybe even had a few cops chasing them & gotten up to some decent speeds.. with Paul Walker driving through alley ways he couldn't possibly have been going that fast, especially with all the 90' turns in his path..

I hope in the next one that they're all on the run from the law & have carp loads of Car chases & outrunning the cops

@ Mr-C

Um... you had to pick the worst pics of Michelle didn't you! Fucker! haha

Those are aweful. Did think Letty was hot in the film, don't care if you don't agree.

AFAIAC Jordana looked anorexic in the film, and all recent photos. The second photo you posted is hot, but I am pretty sure it's an old photo (I admit she was stunning in TF&TF)

That sh*t scares the sh*t outa me haha

Granted, Jordana has never been to prison, and probably will never let a bad photo be taken. You have managed to find pics there that look truly sh*tty of Michelle, but remember, some of those were probably taken after being sentenced to prison time, especially the last one.

BTW, I saw her in a super market and got her autograph on a milk bottle of all things haha. She is one stunning little pocket rocket, and I will stand by that.

Watched it. Was sh*t. Just like all the others. No discernable information on cars whatsoever. Cant believe you guys even started a thread about it.
