Stock rear mirror light

Hey guys, does anyone know how 2 take of the lens for the rear mirror light? i just dont want 2 force it when i dont know what im doing lol..just want to change it to blue bulbs ^^

Did you end up changing them? How does it look and what type of bulbs did you get?

nope, i cant get the 2 plastic out, u know when u open the door, underneath the mirror theres 2 light, i want to change the bulbs to led but i cant get the lens out.

Yeah man, because i want to change them to a whiter one. Do you happen to know what bulb i need to get, might just give it a go

just get small flathead driver and wedge out be careful not to break the tabs and they are feeston stlye bulbs (the long ones)

just an update, i got the plastic cover off, but i cant get the bulb out LOl -_- its just my noobness cause i dont want to break it.

I think they are wedge style .. Just pull em out ... You should be fine...

oh yeah, but i also mean everylight in the cabin. EVERY LIGHT MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I tried to replace the lights in the speedo cluster, and the cigi light with the LED wedge lights... They worked well, but not long after they were in, some of them started to flash.. Then some just stopped working... So I converted them all back to normal globes..

I have seen this hapen to other people to .. Nothing wrong with the globes, just the way the FTO puts current through to them ..

Yeah, I think that is what you need.. One of the guys here used something like that when he got his to work ... So yeah, should work .. I am just too lazy to chase it down .. :lol:
