All of a sudden i insert my key but i cant twist/turn my key?
how do i even get the car checked when i cant move it :(

haha man it sounds like you have locked the steering column mate. Just move the steering wheel around and try and turn the key 2 mate

i've had that happen in my car too. it's probably different coz mine isn't a mitsubishi, but what i had to do is push inwards hard and turn the key left. then it unlocked and i could turn it right to start the car

Undo the the bottom of the steering column cover (4 screws) and remove it. You might need to lower the steering column to do this. There is a white plastic box thingy at the base of the key barrel with 1 screw (I think), unscrew it slowly and a small piece of metal should drop on to the floor. Now you should be able to turn the key. Replace everything and it won't happen again.

No James is correct, this is a common failure of the auto "P" lock. It happened in my car about a month after I brought it.

Just follow the advice above and it wil fix the problem
