Another new FTO owner!
It finally happened!!!! FTO for me!
Who says good things don't come to those who wait?
Drove to Sydney to look at some FTO's today with wife in tow to "make sure I don't do anything silly"(like buy a car). Looked at a few, drove a couple (have done this before so have not exactly rushed in) and went back to a grey/silver 1995 GPX manual with 82000 on the clock. After the others, including one with "50k" on the clock, it felt like driving a new car! So clean and straight. Absolutely stock, except for a different gear knob of all things!
Problem is it is just too quiet! Needs to be lowered badly, aswell as intake and exhaust (in that order).
Funny thing is, I was not going to look at this one because I had decided that I did not like the silver/grey FTO's. So naturally, this was the one that I bought. Excellent price, perfect interior and FTO-100 number plates just to top it all off! If it was anyone off this forum who used to own it, you did a good job!
Sorry. Am rambling now. Don't actually get the car until next week sometime. Something to do with banks not being open on weekends to get a cheque. Oh well. Signed, sealed and awaiting delivery!
First proper trip will have to be Putty road to Windsor....

lol, congrats!
You know, i never really wanted silver/grey too, but it somehow got attached to me... Now i think silver/grey is great!
It hardly ever looks dirty, and it's harder to see scratches in silver!
Are you going to come to Mallacoota with us?
