Drivers window only goes down 1/3 of the way before stopping. When I take it back up it gets to the top and keeps clicking as if it wants to keep going up. Told I may have to replace the whole mechanics of it, that true?
On a side note is there anyway to repair paint damage where the previous owner overfiled the gas and theres some gas streaks down the side?
Thanks in advance for any help!

I would pull the door apart and have a look, probably broken/buckled window rails. Should be a DIY fix at best.
As for paint repairs, cut and polish may do the trick (or not, haven't seen the damage). At worst you may need the entire panel sprayed, which could be a few hundy if you have a standard paintjob, +++ if custom...
