Carmate will charge u for fitting? i remember i asked the guy when i brought the side skirts that can i open and check them and his like dont worry, if it doesnt fit bring it back we'll fit it on for free. im like ok then u said it....if i go there and i have to pay fuk that. lucky i found my reciept too

well brought it unpainted..but friend painted it already but has problem fitting it on thats all. You think u would need to pay them to fit it on properly back for u?

The car is looking NICE, although the VS sideskirts def don't go well with the dc front lip. Not being biased towards the VS sideskirts, I don't mind them at all, just that it's a very sharp contrast to the subtle front. (I'm very picky about how things look)

A very different rear bar, yea it would go nicely with a widebody look.

Some deep dish 18's and you're set!

thinking exactly the same as you are mate, i dont think it goes at all, the front skirt is a lot more subtle in comparison to the rest of the kit. I only got that lip so i could do the customized TS factory front but it was to much trouble for the guy to do it properly. Il definately be looking into getting a bozz speed or something

Ohh btw, they are topmix skirts

Ah yep, topmix it is too, my bad.

I think the bozzspeed is very similar to the DC, it has curves, not sharp bits like the siteskirts do. If you get the bozzspeed it'll basically be a blended front of what you have now with a gaping mouth. I hate to reference to carmate (

)but since you had work done from them already, the top 3 bars on this list would contrast in very nicely with the rest of your kit, especially the JT style one.

hmm, well after seeing richies bozz speed at the cruise ive had my mind set on that. It still looks very aggressive.

Those front bars from carmate just dont do it for me though. The CM4 would probably look the best out of them, the second one looks weird with those cirlce pod things and the third one (HKS) is too plain IMO, people would mistake it for stock.

fuk that just look somewhere else for another shop who can cut out that middle bar in the front bar.

I quite like how subtle the hks bar is but with a number plate there it reminds me of a rabbit.

Tippin9 - did you get the lip off dmd or UAS? How much aswell?

well i think simon said that they do it if you supply the lip and the stock bar, but i think that may work out to be too expensive

No subbie you were right the first time they are VS side skirts. Topmix make them but they are replica series one VS. Even on the topmix website they are called VS XXXX

Agreed. Arent these vs series II sides? Not sure if these are II or I but definately VS.

Even the fto uk website has it as topmix.

yeh, i might have a look around. A guy that lives across the street from me works at a custom body/sound system shop (northwest customs if anyone knows it) maybe able to do something for me

I know that DMD do the best quality work though, Simon if you still have contacts with them, reckon you could find out how much they would want?

you know dmd simon? Can you get dc skirts a little cheaper than their rrp? Even 50bux off could be good.

Hey i think i know northwest customs... My mate got his supra lambo doors done there (2k for each door and labour), they say their work is of top quality.

yep they do really good stuff, my mate across the road specialises in sound systems. a lot of the cars he has worked on have been featured in hot 4's. In time i'l be getting him to do a boot install for me.

Unfortunately for him he had one of his cars lit up on fire on saturday night, after he when out. Feel sorry for him because everything he has done to it was not insured.
