Regretting Buying FTO - Rant Session

As I said before, MX5's can make track monsters, but sadly people don't buy them to turn them into track cars very often. They buy them cos they think they look top sh*t driving a MX5 = Officially branding them Cock chewers.

There are definitely 2 classes of MX5 owners. But they're GOOD cars. Seriously.

People say FTOs are hairdressers cars. Yet you all drive them - fags.

So today I went to school, and I was like, that's it, f**k everyone, I don't care anymore. And then this guy comes up to me and he's like "is that really your car?" and I'm like "yea, I bought it". Then he says "is it RWD" drive and I told him it wasn't. Then "he starts laughin and im like, "yea you wont be laughin when u cant control your piece of sh*t falcon when it starts fishtailing and u wrap it round a tree."

Lol j/k.. if you worked hard for it, goodonya!

I finished highschool in 02...and man, i got around on a pushbike - even a couple of years later.

Wasn't till 06 before i owned my first car being the FTO.

As for ppl giving you crap...it's always gonna happen, just gotta deal with it. Is it really worth getting all pissy over it ? What a waste...i'd rather spend my time doing something constructive/makes me happy. Just gotta learn to let go.. there's nothing to prove.

Or you could just park somewhere else...a street or two away from school - problem solved! (unless you're using the car to pickup some hehe, hell you're only young once!)

I don't know why people always think they need to come up with a witty comeback every time someone gives them sh*t .. most often the best comeback is to say nothing at all, or give them a look of disdain & walk away.. bagging out their car in return only makes you look like a dumbass as well & encourages it to happen more..

yes you can try all these stredgies to minimise the impact of this kind of abuse and lets not play it down its bullying and it eventually wears you down by the sound of it your school is full of bogens I would serious consider an outher school if you can

that's just life .. you'll run into massive tools where ever you go, if it's not school, it's work clubs, pubs, DRIVING!, overseas .. my point is, you need to learn to deal with it ..

Humans are still just animals that walk on their hind legs & make tools..
basic human or animal interaction is like the following;

1.) Become one of the pack:
you can either just take it as harmless smack talk & dish it back in a joking manner & then you might find that they end up being good mates ..

2.) Avoid the predator: what I said before ignore them.

3.) Become Alpha Male of the pack:
beat your chest, stand your ground & don't take any of their crap .. might smack em around a bit if they're still being wankers (get out into the real world, i.e. at work .. & you'll have to deal with your problems some other way 'tis no wonder so many people get into so many punch up in clubs & stuff)

Some of the most successful people are either 1.) or 3.)

The nail has been hit successfully on the head, you are dead right, life is just like that. I guess it is just up to the individual how to deal with it.

Good luck mate, if it is too bad though, I would consider a new school. At least you have a nice shiny ride to take you wherever in the city you need to go

you can find places where this type of person is the minority. I live work and shop in the city I never get sh*t from anyone. but as soon as Im on Ipswich road or any of the big roads leading to the outer suburbes. Im harassed by these cocks in their Povodores with their wannabe aleha male bravaeos. I meet aleha males all the time in the Ã§ity and thay are soft polite and respectful what you are dealing with is something completely different

Tthanks for all the input guys. Well its been a week since i started driving to school and people seem to have shut up now already. I guess it was just the first few days, and now it seems to be old news to them. Besides, I've noticed more people looking at it longingly lately so I feel better now
