Regretting Buying FTO - Rant Session

I have a very pessimistic outlook on people in general. FOr some reason I see the worst side of people first then if by some miracle that they have an IQ higher than -10000 well its just a miracle. Its ridiculous how most of the drivers out there have licenses, the way they drive. Commodores drivers are the worst. They all want to race you. Saying that at least when in the car we have some protection. I have had so many close encounters on the bike. Some people are just so hot headed when they see the L plate on my bike, they dont care whether the road is one laned or whether Im travelling on the speed limit. They will risk taking me off the road just to get in from of me so that they can go 5 km/h faster. Tossers. Oh ive completely gone off topic.

Noone should care about what other people say about what they drive. If your car makes you smile its all that matters.

(unless you drive an excel)

Nah, that's not really off topic. It's all relevant. People are such wankers when it comes to cars AND driving. I haven't even been on the road that long and I've already realised that. Most of the time I'm just out driving the way I want to drive, for myself, not to impress anyone else. Yet people seem to think I'm a revhead or a tryhard coz I've got a nice and fairly "expensive" first car. I did it for myself, because it's what I wanted, but I dunno, it still pisses me off when other people say and do sh*t, both on and off the road.

I know what you mean. When I first got my car I paid a fair amount for a stock one in very good condiition, fresh from Japan and I got a lot of sh*t from people from school. I worked so hard in the year after high school to make enough to buy what I wanted. It really depends on the circumstances with how you are judged. If you look at the mongs who drive the commonwhores at your school, that type of demographic tells me that they are lazy, unambitious who will end up as wifebeaters. The type that does not go to uni nor do they try to further their education/ do things to stimulate their minds. Who gives a sh*t if they cant even string together a mildly complicated sentence or try to speak without some corny catch phrase they've heard on tv. In my case the people who gave me sh*t were the ones who had their parents buy them brand new cars. Brand new accord euros, civics. They had no idea about the "pleasure" of working for your own money. I could never just ask someone to buy me a car (although would never refuse a large some of money). Making money to buy what you want is one the best parts of growing up.

Kind of why I hate conceted asians, although Im asian.

Wow, I'm in absolute agreeance with everything you just said. The truth could not be any more clear and honest about the guys with commonwhores at my school lol. Perfect description of them. I'm sort of just waiting for the day that one of them wraps it around a tree, coz I know it will happen.

Well anyway, I'm feeling better now, no need to go selling my baby only 2 weeks after buying her. Screw all those fags, I'll just rev it louder so I can't hear them. I think the note it makes is absolutely beautiful and thats all that matters

yeah everything is escalated when still in school. You see them everyday, hear thier sh*t everyday and have to put up with it. I can understand how that gets on the nerves.

I've learnt the best way to stop it is agree with what people say, even if its not true.

Eg.
Xxx: your car's sh*t
You: yeh i know
Xxx: .................. Ok

Instead of.
Xxx: your car's sh*t
You: pffft whatever, its mivec
Xxx: yeh a sh*tty 2L though
Blah blah blah..... And it goes on forever

Dude you drive an FTO now....just revel or rub in their faces that it doesn't matter how cool they think they are or how much power they have - you're going to get more PUSSY as you drive a sleek sports car. And I must admit....chicks simply love the FTO especially the ones that don't know much about cars.

What does it matter what the "cool" guys think? You know it's because the "cool" girls are now looking (skankily of course) at you and your car and they aren't getting so much attention any more.

Live it up mate and you are gunna have a lot of fun, and if they start getting a little physical with ya, throw the shout out for some of your local ftoau boys to give ya a helping hand in shutting them the f**k up!

EDIT:

Just be aware though, with brainless assholes like that around, your car will probably be keyed or worse pretty soon. My suggestion, don't bother fixing it until you either leave school, or can pay for repairs constantly.

Don't get rid of the car, you know it is fantastic!

What school do you go to ? When i got my fto in yr 12 everyone was just like 'ohhh' and everyone wanted a ride. No one was a real dickhead. I guess what im saying is its the people that go to your school that are the problem.

Try it in an FTO with a front mount

TBQH, the MX5 handles like it's on rails, or is that like a go kart. Never had the power to match and you could never describe the looks as aggressive.

Not so much a feminine car, as a car that females just love to drive

exactly they handle like there on rails. i drove one of the sp ones at work, (the high boost ones) and I sh*t myself laughing. Very fun car to drive. Better than the s2000 IMO.
