Couple of Questions

Post by AMACHA »

Got the rpw extractors from nvr2low, i called mitsubishi gave them my VIN for two gaskets and they quoted me 103bux each for a gasket. He said the galant gaskets arnt the same.
What Are my options?

Now my mirrors fold in with the central locking but recently the right mirror jerks and cant fold it but has no trouble folding out...Any ideas?

Thanks

thanks for the part number bennoz, i emailed rpw and they said the stock gaskets can be used and the only gaskets that need to be changed are the ones between the ypipe and the extractors themselves.....

Can i just reuse the stock gaskets on there?or will they rip when i take the old headers off?

I've had some rip, some not, gasket goop ensures they will rip, where-as a clean fit will keep the gasket in 1 piece... hopefully.

Always best to replace.. or atleast have spares on hand in case, dont wanna kick yourself later.

Just reuse the old ones, I would. They're a metal gasket & wont tear.

Yeah, I agree. I didnt realise the ones you were after where these. An exhaust shop will match them at a price much better than for the genuine ones.
