Perfectly put. Just because some around here (you know who you are) aren't capable of lateral thinking, doesn't mean you should conform too.FTEvolution wrote: I throw ideas around a lot, some work, some don't, and some hate them. But that doesn't matter really. I welcome all constructive criticism to the crap ideas I throw around, but saying to just buy a Supra is like the elitists over here who told me "you can't fit a VR4 engine in an FTO, just buy a Legnum." So many of us have proven them wrong now that I just laugh.
Considering that I am good with my hands, money isn't really a problem and I have some very good contacts over here, anything is possible.

If someone doesn't like the idea, go for it and tell me it's crap, but be sure to TELL ME WHY or else you sound like a tool like the guy in that other thread

That has been thought of many times, but it just isn't cost effective. If bothering with that thanks I would probably just "go with the supra" and keep this SOB as it isCassf88 wrote:theres an idea, turn it into a RWD

Then again, if I can find an Evo4 rear subframe, Leggy gearbox and AYC Dif for next to nothing (missed out on all that for $200 2 years ago :S ) then I may actually do that...
RWD FTO Skidder FTW

RWD conversion is understandably everyone's wet dream, for obvious reasons.
Unfortunately but, that's all it will likely ever be. Even if you DID manage to get power going through the rear wheels, IMO it would ruin the car's dynamics and balance.
Mitsu designed a beautifully balanced FWD car -> change it to RWD and I doubt you could ever get that balance and handling quite right.

This idea is almost as common as the t-t-turbo idea, do a search and u'll see what I mean (well RWD/AWD)Cassf88 wrote:theres an idea, turn it into a RWD

You are dead right, no doubt it would be the same as a whale VR4 made RWD... dynamics messed to hell.nicholas wrote:RWD conversion is understandably everyone's wet dream, for obvious reasons.

I would still love to though, and as I said, if I could find the parts cheap enough, I may just make an attempt

FWD --> RWD. Has anyone seen the DC2 converted to RWD on youtube? Its a downright mad skidder. And in regards to the bodykit, you thought about getting the wider fenders with vent look?.
