The rear seat will go. Havent gone past the point of no return just yet, but soon ill be cutting out that parcel shelf, the rear glass and the support for the back seat. Reckon the divider will be about 10 cm behind the front door - just enough for the belts. Hopefully have a little more progress by the time the bonfire comes around.
On another note, was wondering if I could drive something like this at a track day. I know id have to trailer it in, but once it was there, would it be allowed on the track. Its a tip, but it has a greddy transmission cooler on it, so its part way towards a track setup.
Umm .. Don't think cars have to be road registered, but they would have to pass a safety inspection ... So yeah, if you change it that much, they may want something to say it is sound ...
might as well go the long yard and turn iot into a autosalon monster... The wrx ute got a l;oad of awards and you might aswell show off your frankenstein fto.
Probly a good years from now but it would hold up its own with the fto's shape
Its just the rear section. Youd have to get a 2.5 inch pipe in front. Not much to that though. Ill try and have a look at it today/tomorrow to make sure its OK and get back to you. Then itll be first in......
will insurance still be happy if u chop into the body of a car? stupid question but like, is it still as safe? would it be something that if u dont inform them about they can reject your claim??

What are you planning on doing? As dstocks car is not going to be put on the road.
However if you are planning on chopping a car it can be done legally, it just has to be certified
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

I think it could as they dont look over any of the cars on the open days
When I asked the Q. when I first went down there they told me that I do the check as I know the car better than any one.
No point insuring something that wont be on a public road and cant be registered....... I could fix it and sell it for maybe 7K, or I can have some fun and do something that hasnt been done before. I want to be the first to do it. Bugger the cost!
