For a 6G72 engine, it sure does look like a 6A12...

What if it really is 3 litre? Either way, it's a nice looking car I must say :)

I know both those cars here in the UK. The tippy turbo is Little Red, which was one of the first Mivec Turbos done in this country by Mark,,, erm, forgot his second name.

The 3L is what it says it is, an HKS demo car which was imported a couple of years ago and has the Diamente engine squeezed in.

Both a good price too and no worry over compliance here in the UK.

That has to be an old picture, cause that engine is definately not a 6G72.
Unles they used the GDI engine, but you cant rally get that sort of power.

Actually, a bit humble pie is called for, that isn't a 6G72 angine and even if it were, they have put the gearbox on the wrong side

The actual spec of the car was kept a pretty close secret to begin with so I am not sure what engine they used so I will keep shtum in future unless I am sure.

But I have seen Little Red in action and its pretty impressive.

It is on you tube.

I would love to know what engine is in that, rather bugging me now
You're right, it isnt a 6g72, A due to orientation, but B due to head configuration.
That is definately a 6A1 design head, but I doublt you could even bore a 6a13 block to 3L, maybe 2.8 :S

It is a 6A12 in that engine bay but I dont reckon thats even the engine bay from the car. For a show car with two years of R&D on it, its far to skanky to be its engine bay.

Look behind the brakes and you can see a set of aftermarket coilovers and in the engine bay there are standard strut tops poking through.

Maybe someone should email Hyline asking for a picture of the cars actual engine?
