handbrake light

for some odd reason my handbrake light stays on even when its down

its been a few days now and it hasn't turned off yet

take off your brake fluid cap and push the black rubber bit up this happend to mine and it fixes it nae bother mate

Yeah, the light actually doubles as both handbrake warning & fluid level warning :)

have you fixed the problem yet?

because i have had this problem a year and a half ago and i still havent corrected it

check your brake fluid because that happens if not

you handbrake sensor or the wiring is farked!

just get an auto electrician to fix it!

he will rip you off though thats why i havent bothered yet! :S

just had a look in the FTO book and this light will also come on if the brak pads need changing 8O this light is a smart little light :lol:
