Hi 8thWonder, I see you're a newbie, so here's a little helpful advice...

You'll find that most common questions like this have already been asked and answered, so use the "search" link listed in the above menu.

You'll find people get different results based on their mods and driving style, but most would average around 8k/l. However, do the search and you'll find some other interesting info out too

it'll look better on the signature in his profile instead (rather than the gibberish that he's got now :P)

Well i think steve should put a Sticky that say "Newbie please read before posting" which should include wording similar to ruchi's that tell them to seach before they post.

Ohhh btw about ruchi signature, what he saying is correct, except it won't work if you change any word that have 3 letters or less & common word like "the"

Good idea Kev, a "Newbie" sticky would be a good idea, it will help them find the information faster as they won't have to wait for someone to respond and it will also help keep the forums cleaner.

In terms of my signature, I think you meant to say that it won't work on words of three letters or less (not more), and yes you are quite correct. The rule is that the first and last letter must stay in their original places, so with a 3 letter word (or less) you cannot alter the word. Still, it's a really weird concept that it actually works!
