VIC FIRES -- putting out the donation Hat please help

Post by aza013 »

I am thinking of putting the hat out for donations for this and calling it in to the radio station as they let every one know on air the amount and from who its from, this would be done in the clubs name.
Maybe if each state Coordinators did this we could get two things done at once :-
1st would be help out the VIC ppl
2nd get the club name out there.
so what dose every one think?

edit:- I would like to also say that this is set up more to help the PPL of VIC than getting the club name out there its just a + that our club name is put with it.

Well im in, let me know what you want

I was thinking $$$$ but any thig will be great.

even if we get the money together we could call it in to the telathon at the end of the week.

I will be looking at giving $1000 split in to two payments
$500 in with the FTO club and $500 in with the Mitsi club.
I am not asking every one to put in that amount, $5 or any thing above will be great what ever you can spare :thumleft:

edit:- if PPL could PM me and I will send the Bank info to you ands could you also post up in this post the amout that you are giving so that we can all keep track of how its going.
as soon as the pledge to the colection PPL has been made I will post up a recipt number or what ever they give me so every one knows that it has been done.

I donated a decent some at work, for every $ donated by staff, our company is matching it and donating the same amount.

I'm not sure if I can donate here.. I'm a bit tight on budget this month plus I already have 2 world vision kids sponcered :?

Edit: Actually if only like $10-20 is needed that should be fine.

Nice effort... Sorry I would have put in, but we had a Westpac thing... Everyone wore red for the day an bought in $10 ... So we raised about $4mil so far ... Hopefully everyone kept their receipts as Westpac matches $ for $ ... So far only 250,000 has been submitted for corporate matching...

good to see some compassion amongst the club.

I phoned in tonight and pledged some money on behalf of the club, plus some of my family have pledged as well.

thanks mate :D but as for there being more ppl like me there is, every one that made a donation is like me :D
as for the amount I put in well it was the money that I had set aside from tips I got from work for my C/F bonnet.
The way I see it I can do with out the bonnet for a little bit longer but the VIC PPL can't do with out food , drinks, clothes and a place to stay (house)
I just wish I could give more.

I would also like to say a big well done to every one that dug deep and donated :thumleft:
