just my luck...need some help guys :(

ok so as im selling my car...i decided to service it today....done everything put it all bback together..started the car and the car revs out to 4000rpm then dies....and if i hold the pedle i can hear poping from the engine ??? ... and then the engine light comes on ...confused .... ohh and it whistles :O ...not happy :(

That doesn't sound good mate 8O

Before I suggest a cracked exhaust manifold, can you check the codes for us?

i checked the exhaust no cracks....but i forgot to mention thats i had a painted mivec intake plenum which i put on....could it be that ??? as my cars a GR?...it fits perfect...maybea crack in the plenum?

service just a minor from spark plugs to fuel filter, oil, oil filter....the only major thing i did was change to a gpx plenum thats it...

Which is unfortunately incompatible with a GR....

but in what way are they different they look exatly the same in everyway possiable.....even fits straight on...??? can someone tell me what the differance is pleazeeeee :(

Are all vacum tubes hooked up and all electricals pluged in?
You haven't got an air leak in the manifold have you?

a gpx plenum has a vac outlet for the MAP sensor

thats where your leak probably is :lol:

nah the vacume pipe line for the map sensor is covered and blocked off.. the if u guys are talking bout the little black pieces inside the intake i took them out in the gr one and it made the car more responsive :D.....aawww i have to pull it out again looks soo pretty...the sensors plug in aswell except temp sensor thats left out dont need it..hummzzz
