Yep ... Is for me ... Well not too hot that you can't have your foot near it, but pretty warm ...

ohh .. i use to drive with thongs a lot before and never felt that much heat ... its probably hot enough to make you not lean your foot on the carpet ... (and i dont thrash or speed to make it hot) :?

Umm could be general heat ... These hot days don't tend to cool the car down that much ...

I think it is the transmission that is causing the heat there .. I use to get a fair bit of heat in the Cressida in the same spot ... I use to get it in the commodore too, but that was because the clip would break on the air conditioning, and it would be stuck on heat.. So the heat pipe would be circulating the hot water through the pipes, causing excess heat at my feet...

After I fixed that problem, all was good... But the guys here may know some other problems that it could be ...

Without a F&*Ken doubt, thats what your next purchase should be..... and that goes for any tip owner.

Why would the transmission be causing heat in the drivers side footwell?? The tranny in an FTO is on the passenger side of the engine bay... think about it.
