How quick is your mini ben, my mate had a stock standard one back in nz and that thing's handling was crazy. I cant begin to imagine what your one would be like

Last motor pulled 0-100 in 5.5 secs

Best quarter it ever ran was a 12.9 @ 126mph... that was a few engines ago thou. Every motor I build is different as we 've got a huge selection of cams to choose from. Had one that was a full blown race scatter cam, had no power till 4500rpm & redlined at 9!

Current setup is more of a mid range rally cam. Pulls from 3 grand & finishes at 7. There's also a bunch of different extractors sets I've got to choose from, the old 3 into 1 short branch, which gives me power up high, or the LCB (Long Centre Branch) with gives me more down low.

Mind you, I think if I blow this next motor (10 grands worth) I'll be going retro streeter on it & dumping a Suzuki GTI or Civic donk into it

Would be awesome to see an FTO compete. The only problem with AWD and turbo FTO entries are that you have to compete in the Open Class to be eligible meaning you will be competing against the Monaros, Ferraris, Porsches, etc.

Only way you can race FTO in the specific class races is without any modifications whatsoever. And yes that includes having the stock paper air filter installed.

yeah plus it would be so much fun being allowed to go up to ridiculous speeds on the streets of tassie and not have any worries of getting caught!

NO I DIDNT, he said i will be competeing against the likes of ferraris and sh*t. Implying that i wouldnt stand a chance. I was merely stating that i wasnt in it to be a strong competator just to be in it............NOOB
