im just wonderin how hard/pricey would it be to put gul wings or lambo doors on my pride and joy.

Search my friend.... You will find that people have found there are clearence issues... But it can be done... The Kaze kit may be the best fit though...

yea i know a few guys that can suply and fit the scissor/lambo doors to fto cost is bout 1800 or 2000 fitted

Yes, I have tried this. Im not going to repeat all the problems i had, just do a search on lambo and doors.

Clearance is definitly the biggest issue.

Preety steep, but thats the norm on doors like this... Supra and sky.line lambo door conversions can cost around the same

If you wanna do it properly, it's around 8000. You can get a cheap-o dodgy kit for like 2500 but expect to replace it every 2 years.

You can 6a13 your fto with that kind of doe $$$

not worth the investment in my opinion.

Nah 8k is bit high, For a proper job, I can make the kit for about 2K, however, you would need to get a wide body front fenders for it too fit and I just couldnt be bothered (at that stage)

In saying that, the next project is my GPX and will definitly be doing widebody on that aswell as Lambo doors. The lambo kit is almost finished

every other time I get into the car I manage to whack my head on the roof, can't imagine what having scissor doors would do to me.
Was looking at it at one point, kit for sale online somewhere, lost link now.

looks cool, but a bit impractical really.

I meant as in the companies that make the kits and sell them, the proper ones can cost upto 8k, not "aftermarket" kits that people make =p

the only problem with that fto is you wont know how long the door will last, what material the supports are made of.

If i remember correctly simon had to change them a couple of times because they were too weak.

Thanks for reminding me - I saw this 2 days ago.

That guy is a complete retard.

He's advertised his car for $19K.

He claims to have 170+ kw yet all he has is "custom exhaust system to gain a bit power" which cost him $300 and iridium sparkies. A proper full exhaust system with extractors downpipes etc costs $2k

The first line is "P Plater dream car". I honestly feel like kicking the sh*t out of the seller everytime somebody writes this. $3000 for a piece of sh*t ugly VS kit? I think not. The only reason people buy it cos it's the cheapest and most common one out of all.

"Top of the tree FTO" lmfao.

He's calculated everything he's done to the car (things like service air con rofl) and added it onto the price of the car. What a f*ckin took.

Sorry if I'm raging so much I'm just having a sh*t day at work and sh*t like this makes me fkn rage so hard.

yeah mate that was one of the problems, they were too weak. However that is the easy problem to fix but can be costly.

Yeah mate it does definitly make getting in and out of the car more challenging.

There arre heaps of lambo door kits out on the market all promising to be great and simple fit, but they lie. It is not simple on a fto, plain and simple.

I have no idea why you got cut about me making that comment - The more people like you out there (which I hope isn't too many, wouldn't be good for the society) the better it is for sellers like that guy who's selling his car, means he has a higher chance of sucking in simple minded people to buy his car.
