Buying FTO

Post by yannino »

Hey guys

Ive been looking around this last month for a nice FTO and i FINALLY found something that has REALLY caught my eye. My uncle who is a head mechanic in Gardenvale, his best friend imports japanese cars and he has a fresh one from about a month or 2 ago....its been on carsales for awhile now and he was selling for 13gran....hes now dropped it to 11000 and i went and checked it out today...I did all the check ups aka. the gaps on the front bonnet to make sure its original which it was...the front indentation of the mitsubishi logo is there...

It generally looks like a very VERY neat car and its only done 87000KM...

Anyway my Uncles best mate seems pretty helpful and he doesnt look like someone who is planning to rip me off...the other good thing if i buy it off him is that my Uncle can make sure everything is in tiptop condition and i can point at him if something goes wrong because he is going to test it all for me to make sure its all ok.

Anyway what they have offered me altogether considering i am related to the owners best mate... is that i pay 11000 which will include RWC, 12months registration, 3 months warranty and 1 year free service.

On Tuesday im going to go test drive the car...see if its what i really want and get my uncle to test it out and look under the car to make sure everythign is ok.

Reason why i made this topic was to grab an opinion from people as to whether the price and all the cars features is worth its money, whether people think its worth considering looking for antoher FTO.
Im going to try bargain for aroudn 10gran but i dont know how succesful im going to be....we will see

below you will find the link
Cheers again for all your help,

Yanni

11 grand for a car with low mileage, including RWC, warranty and service dude its an offer that is worth grabbing. If u look at carsales u wun get a better offer. what year model is it? I remember there was this thread on what to look out for before buying one but I cant seem to find it. But WTTC anyway.
